What is sitemap.xml and why it is important?

Sitemap is a whole map of your website in which every single url of your website will present.

Search engines like Google,Yahoo,Bingo uses sitemaps to crawl and index webpages on the internet.

So, It is important to submit sitemaps so that search engines crawl and indexes your webpages.

 By default your site sitemap will be available at www.yoursite.com/sitemap.xml

Steps to submit sitemap in blogger


1. Goto blogger.com and sign-in to your account.

 2. Goto Google Webmasters Tools here and select your site as shown     below.

4.  Now, In the dashboard section select Crawl->Sitemaps as shown in    picture below.

5. Now, Select ADD/TEST in the top right corner.
Select ADD/TEST sitemap


6.  Now, In the input filed type sitemap.xml and hit Submit.

Thats it! You have successfully submitted your blog's sitemap.
