NiceHash a largest cypto-mining market place where people sell their computer processor power in exchanging of bitcoins faced a huge security breach.
The CEO of NiceHash Marko Kobal said A unknown hackers team has compromised NiceHash systems and stolen nearly 4,700 bitcoins which worth nearly $64 million.
Mark Kobal over facebook live stream said
"According to VPN logs, the hackers accessed NiceHash’s system through a VPN login using one of its engineer’s credentials and they managed to analyse the Nicehash's payment systems then started doing transactions."
“We understand that you will have a lot of questions, and we ask for patience and understanding while we investigate the causes and find the appropriate solutions for the future of the service."
Nicehash said that they are stopping their services for 24hrs to investigate the breach and verify how many bitcoins were stolen and advised their users to change their passwords.
Also said they called international Law enforcements team and cybercrime experts around the world to investigate the breach.
