Ransomware 'Bad Rabbit' hitting organisations in Russia and Ukraine

A new Ransomware known as Bad Rabbbit started on 24th Oct 2017 has been hitting some of the organisations in Russia and Ukraine




Intially it has effected the systems of an Airport in Ukraine,two Russian websites Fontanka.ru,Interfax and a subway system in Kiev.

Security experts said,This malware has some of the similarities of Ransomwares such as Wannacry and Petya/NonPetya attacks which were happend early this year.

However,most of the Anti-Virus programes are not able to detect this malware.

How it spreads?

This malware uses the exploit  EternalRomance to spread.

This malware is spreading by clicking on the fake Adobe Flash Updates which comes while surfing through internet pages.

After analysing the codes of this malware Researchers said, The creators of this malware were used the names in theirs codes as Drogon and Rhaegal which are characters of a Famous TV series Game Of Thrones.

However,it is still a unkown who is behind it!
